Hey, Linksy friend! Welcome back to another post on making the most out of Linksy!
If you’re ready to level up your SEO strategy and streamline your internal linking, Linksy’s cross-linking feature will make it easier than ever.
With this feature, you can now add inbound and outbound links to any post directly from the reports page. Say goodbye to extra navigation steps!
In this post, we’ll walk through the entire process, step-by-step.
Ready? Let’s get started.
Step 1: Access the Cross-Link Feature #
From your reports page, hover over the post you’d like to add links to, and you’ll see the cross-link option appear.
Clicking on it opens up the cross-link modal, where the magic happens.
Step 2: Explore the Filter Options #
Once the modal is open, you’ll notice various filter options.
These options allow you to define how many links you want to add and specify where they should come from, giving you total control over your cross-linking strategy.
This flexibility means you can target specific pages or posts for linking, providing you with a more customized and effective internal linking structure.
Step 3: Set the Link Ratio #
One of the most important settings here is the Link Ratio.
This setting determines the maximum number of inbound and outbound links allowed for the selected post.
For example, setting the ratio to “3” will limit both inbound and outbound links to three each.
For this example, I’ll set the link ratio to “3” and leave the other filters untouched to receive the best suggestions tailored for this post.
Step 4: Look Up Relevant Links #
Once you’re happy with the filters and the link ratio, click on the “Lookup” button.
Linksy will scan your entire site to find the most relevant posts related to your target post, then automatically map connections and generate snippets for each link.
This way, you’re not only cross-linking but also boosting your content’s visibility and relevance within your site.
Step 5: Select and Add Your Links #
After Linksy completes the lookup, you’ll see a list of link suggestions.
You can choose all the suggestions or select only a few, depending on your goals and the page’s existing link structure. For this example, I’ll select all links.
Finally, click the “Link Selected” button to add your selected links.
And that’s it! Your cross-links are live and ready to enhance your SEO and improve user navigation on your site.
Wrapping Up #
With just a few steps, Linksy’s cross-linking feature makes it easy to add targeted, optimized links to any post.
This feature not only saves you time but also strengthens your website’s internal linking and SEO structure.
