Linksy Automation Turbo: How it Works

Automation Turbo makes linking your posts super easy! In just minutes, you’ll be done without all the manual work.

Watch the video below to see how it works.

I recommend starting with the text after the video for better understanding, plus we’ve introduced some more functions after the video was made.

What Does the Automation Turbo Do? #

Linksy’s Automation Turbo is a tool that helps you quickly link posts together.

For example, if you have a site with 500 posts, you can ensure each post has an internal link to another post and receives a link in return.

It’s perfect for fixing orphaned posts and building a strong internal link structure.

Note:
– The Automation Turbo only works with published
– Unencoded posts are also removed from the process, so you should ensure your posts are encoded before you use the tool.

How Does the Automation Turbo Work? #

  • 1. Filter Your Posts:

Start on the reports page and filter the posts you want to link. Ideally, they should be published and from the same category for the best results.

Automation Turbo works on the entire filtered list, so it doesn’t matter how many posts are displayed per page.

  • 2. Select Automation Turbo:

Once you’ve filtered your posts, choose “Automation Turbo” from the Bulk Actions dropdown and click “Apply.”

Step 1: Mapping #

The system pairs your posts based on similarities. You can choose from three mapping options:

One to One: Each post has one inbound and one outbound link.
One to Two: Each post has up to two inbound and two outbound links.
One to Three: Each post has up to three inbound and three outbound links.

Once you make your choice, click the “Start Mapping” button. If any pairing fails, you’ll be notified, and you can remap them. You can easily remove any post from the process by hovering over them and clicking the remove button.

Step 2: Snippet Generation #

After mapping, the system generates relevant snippets from the source post to match the target post.

You can create snippets for individual pairs, multiple pairs, or the entire list.

If you’re not happy with a snippet, simply regenerate it. You can also edit the anchor text using the editable anchor tool.

Use the filter tool to easily find posts with missing snippets or anchors and fix them with a click.

Step 3: Linking #

Once your snippets are ready, you can link the posts.

You can either link all pairs at once or select specific pairs. Linking happens in the background, and you can track the progress.

And that’s it! You’ve successfully automated your internal linking with Linksy’s Automation Turbo.

Thank you!

Automation Turbo FAQ #

  • Why Am I Getting Request Failed with Status Code 403?

A Linksy user once reached out to report that the Automation Turbo Linking feature was failing. Upon checking the network logs through the developer tools, they saw this message: “A potentially unsafe operation has been detected in your request… (HTTP response code 403).”

Deactivating Wordfence temporarily resolved the issue.

If you encounter this error, a security plugin (like Wordfence) is likely the cause. Try disabling the plugin and test if Linksy works. If it does, adjust the security plugin’s settings to allow Linksy’s operations without causing conflicts. Here is a recommded post to read
